The compressor’s engineering design substantially reduces vibration. It also precisely attenuates and muffles sound waves to effectively dampen sound. The decibel level measured next to the system is only 46db. This means it is an exceptionally quiet system with a noise level similar to a running refrigerator.
The Triton™ mobile dental system combines quality engineering components with unique features and designs exclusive to ASI.
Product Design & Engineering
ASI’s mobile dental units are engineered with medical grade stainless steel for the control block and valves, rather than the plated brass components common to other dental units. Medical grade stainless steel has greater strength for superior performance, lasting durability and corrosion resistance from water line disinfectants.
The Triton™ Mobile Dental Systems are built using a thick-walled, high-grade aluminum chassis. The baked on powder coat finish provides durability. A WilsonArt™ solid surface worktop provides an easy to clean surface. Durable, heavy-duty casters ensure smooth and easy movement.
The innovative patented handpiece holders feature a molded body design that articulates around the holder bar and from side to side for ideal instrument placement. Each holder is engineered to precisely fit the unique shapes of various instruments.
Exclusive to ASI are our 100% titanium dental suction handpieces. These handpieces offer a higher degree of corrosion resistance than other metals, including stainless steel.

Compressor and Vacuum Performance
The dental air compressor and vacuum pumps are selected for their high output performance as well as their ability to deliver air flow and suction strength. The oil-free air compressor provides the proper combination of pressure and flow to properly run the major brands of handpieces at their required operating pressures.
The dental vacuum pump is designed to provide the optimal combination of suction strength as well as flow of air required. The high air flow allows both the saliva ejector and HVE to be used at the same time, which is unique for self-contained dental systems.
The Mobile Dental Unit incorporates a suction canister to filter out heavy metals and debris. Amalgam and other particles collect in the removable sedimentation bowl, meeting most city & state requirements. An external amalgam separator is an available option. The electronically controlled float switch shuts off the vacuum pump in the event the canister fills up. This protects the vacuum pump from flooding.
ASI uses two-stage aluminum air tanks to provide safe, non-corroding high-pressure capability. The two-stage drying system removes condensation from the air supply. As a result, the Triton™ system provides oil-free, clean, dry air for dental procedures.
The Triton™ Mobile Dental Systems provide a convenient on-board supply of water for dental irrigation and handpiece coolant spray. The clean, closed water system bottles can be filled with distilled water.
